The California
The client wanted a 'California in the 1960's' feel to the garden to make the entrance to the house dramatic. A wide path was created using Welsh slate with rendered walls creating raised planting beds.
This allowed for dense planting without impeding the entrance to the house. Inset lights were used to highlight the path at night and a hidden bike store was topped with Welsh slate and aloe plants in pots.
